CASAS GOALS Series for ABE/ASE: Overview and Next Steps
This session will provided programs with an overview of the CASAS GOALS assessments as an alternative to TABE 11/12 for required ABE/ASE NRS testing. The session addressed ICCB guidelines for adopting a new assessment, models for implementation, and next steps for programs including required CASAS Implementation Training. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions that will be answered via a FAQ following the webinar.

Support Services at a Distance and ICCB Updates – Virtual Student Services for ALL
“Virtual student services become a critical factor in student satisfaction and retention” (Fontaine & Cook, 2014, para 9).
During this webinar, transitional student support services including were discussed: registration, orientation, advising, tutoring, and technology support. Also discussed was how to support your team in our current climate; socially, emotionally, and by sharing resources which can assist them in supporting students through a wide range of barriers; including technology, financial, physical and emotional, and employment.
