Data Specialist

This course is designed to provide an prepare intake staff, data managers, and administrators for their interactions with data in adult education. This is the second of three parts of the Data Pathway. At the end of this training, you can continue on to become a Data Master. 

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

• Demonstrate mastery of more advanced spreadsheet functions by completing tasks in Excel or Google Sheets

• Run static reports and explain what is being shown

• Create a variety of ad hoc reports to answer program related questions

• Resolve errors in data

• Use data to identify a program problem; propose a solution; identify a method to assess its effectiveness
