Anita Kerr is an Educational Training Specialist for the Central Illinois Adult Education Service Center, part of the ICCB Adult Education Professional Development Network. She holds a B.A. in English from Union University and an M.A. in English Literature from SIUE. 

Anita has been working and teaching in the adult education field for over 20 years, in the areas of ESL, volunteer & workplace literacy, and ABE/ASE instruction. She currently teaches ASE classes for Lincoln Land Community College. 

In addition to presenting at numerous regional, state, and national conferences on adult education topics, Anita has helped develop several statewide adult education curricula, as well as the Illinois’ ABE/ASE Content Standards for Language Arts. She is also a certified CASAS trainer.
