Dr. Amanda Bastoni is the Senior Director of Postsecondary & Workforce Implementation at CAST. During her 20+ years in education as a researcher, teacher, and Career and Technical Education (CTE) director, she has focused on increasing access to high-quality education and career pathways. As part of CAST's Workforce team, Amanda works with educators and administrators through coaching, workshops, and presentations focused on work-based learning, competency-based assessment, and innovative pathway design. Her extensive experience in adult education, CTE, and workforce systems design includes presenting regularly at COABE and adult education state director events supported by OCTAE, along with publications on improving professional development for adult educators using Universal Design for Learning.
