This VLC will provide participants with research-based practical strategies they can apply to help improve student persistence rates. We will explore elements of our programs where we can integrate supports and new approaches to help students stay, from orientation to the last day of class and beyond. Participants will have opportunities to converse with peers, learn and apply strategies for retaining students, and feel connected while collaborating with others! 

Participants can join any time after between Aug.17-Oct.4 by registering and beginning with the first part of the asynchronous course.

PD hours will be issued for live meetings and asynchronous activities.

If you’ve participated in a Persistence VLC in the past, the content will largely be the the same for this VLC as in the past.
