ABE/ASE Standards Proficient Instructor Training in either Language Arts or Math is strongly recommended by the Illinois Community College Board for all ABE/ASE instructors employed by ICCB-funded adult education programs. The training has three components:

• ABE/ASE Standards Foundations online course (5 hours)

• 2 live webinars (6 hours total)

 • Independent activity (3 hours)
