The application for Cohort 2 of ELA Standards Proficient Instructor (ESPI) Training is now open. ELA Standards Proficient Instructor (ESPI) Training is strongly recommended by the Illinois Community College Board for all adult education English Language Acquisition (ELA) instructors. It has three components:

• Introduction to ELA Standards online course through iLEARN (5 hours)
• 2 live webinars (6 hours total): Jan 31 & Feb 7, 1:00-4:00 pm
• Final assignment (3 hours)

Participation is open to ELA instructors employed by ICCB-funded adult education programs only. There is no cost to attend.
